The StoreProtect charges will be based on the Declared Maximum Replacement Value for your goods in storage. You declare the Maximum Replacement Value for your unit when you book online or over the phone.
When choosing StoreProtect, you must declare the Maximum Replacement Value for your goods as new. Under our Terms & Conditions, we will repair or replace your goods as new, so the value declared should be calculated with this in mind. It is your responsibility to declare the correct value to ensure that your goods are suitably protected in the event of loss or damage.
If the value of your stored goods changes during the time you are storing with us (increases or decreases) we ask that you update us on any changes using our online declaration form or by sending us an email. If you change or update the Maximum Replacement Value, the StoreProtect Charges may be amended accordingly. We may notify you of any approved change in writing; however, any change to the Maximum Replacement Value and any resulting amendment to the StoreProtect Charges will not take effect until reflected on your invoice. Any approved increase to the Maximum Replacement Value will take effect from your next billing period and will not apply retrospectively to any loss or damage occurring before that date.
If you are storing goods with a Maximum Replacement Value exceeding £25,000, please get in touch with us for a bespoke quote for StoreProtect.
