Yes, you can! We understand a family member, or a team member may need access too. If you are using the storage for personal use, you can register up to 3 numbers and if are a business, you can register up to 5 numbers.

If you do need to register more number, we can accommodate, but please be away there will be a small fee ranging from €5 – €20 depending on the amount of numbers.

To register more people for access to site, please email their full name and number to support@storebox.ie. One of our team will process this and email back to confirm.

This is completely up to you. When you book, you will have access via the gate access system and a lock will be provided with a set of 3 keys. It is your responsibility to only allow access to your storage to people you know.

We don’t offer forklifts on site due to our facilities being outdoor and unmanned. We do, however, offer outdoor drive up units to make it easier to store your items.

Our Artane site is open 365 days a year! You can gain access Monday – Friday 7:00am – 07:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 10:00am – 06:00pm.

Our Clondalkin site is open 365 days a year! You can gain access between 05:00AM – 12:00AM midnight.

Most of our facility’s access is controlled by a phone access system. This works when you ring the special gate number and if you are a customer, it will recognise you and let you in. 

Other sites have gates that are controlled by a keypad. Once you enter your unique code, the gate will open.

All sites are secured with an access gate only customer and staff can enter from. Most of our gates use a call access system which recognises you via your phone number.

Our office is open Monday – Friday between 09:00am – 05:00pm. If you call us outside of office hours, you can leave a message with the out of hours team and we’ll get back to you the next working day.

All of our facilities have 24/7 monitored CCTV. Some of our cameras have speakers if the security team feels they need to speak to someone on site. The sites are also secured with an electronic gate and flood lights to make it easier to see if attending after dark.

Accessibility varies across our locations. Many of our sites offer ground-floor units with flat, level access. However, some facilities may have small thresholds (lips) at the unit doors or require the use of stairs to reach upper floors. We recommend contacting our team to ensure your specific unit meets your needs.

For health and safety reasons, pets and other animals in general are not permitted at any Storebox location. However, registered assistance dogs are always welcome. We ask that they remain on a lead and under your control at all times while on-site. 

Storebox is primarily a self-service, unmanned facility. This means there are generally no staff members on-site to assist with moving items, opening heavy doors, or reaching high latches. If you require physical assistance, we strongly recommend bringing a companion with you. We recommend contacting our team to ensure your specific unit meets your needs. 

Most of our multi-story sites are equipped with goods-only lifts intended for moving stock and belongings. For safety reasons, these cannot be used as passenger lifts for wheelchair users or individuals. In these cases, upper floors are accessible via stairs only. 

Absolutely. If you have mobility issues, please contact our sales team during the booking process, and we will do our best to allocate a unit that minimizes travel distance.
